A diet rich in vegetables like cabbage could protect against bladder cancer, said a New Zealand scientist who led the research about it.
The research results were supported by an earlier study showed that the rats that were fed the genus brassica vegetables (all kinds of cabbage and kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, etc.) Recorded an increase in enzymes that protect against chemicals that may cause cancer.
The greatest effect was seen in bladder cancer, indicating that it provides protection of vegetables and cancers
This result is consistent with epidemiological studies that show that people who are a lot of food from the genus brassica vegetables have a lower risk of bladder cancer than those who eat only small amounts of the vegetables
